Man taken into custody after carjacking, crime spree that spanned much of Phoenix Thursday afternoon

JUST IN: Police have identified the man who was arrested after yesterday's crime spree that included an officer-involved shooting and carjackings.

PHOENIX — A man is in custody after a crime spree that included an officer-involved shooting in Phoenix Thursday afternoon.Officials say the shooting happened on State Route 51 near Indian School Road, but the crime scene extended through much of the city.

Delfin then drove down several side streets, allegedly causing multiple collisions. In one of the collisions, a woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
