RCMP said 26-year-old Theresa Kathleen Coutre had been taken from her home against her will.
A 33-year-old Goodfish Lake resident was identified as a suspect. The Alberta RCMP major crimes unit was called in to take over the investigation.
In a late Wednesday evening update, police said Coutre had been found and is safe, but a man remained at large.St. Paul RCMP said in a Sunday news release that Jackson had been arrested and was remanded into custody.
