A man was shot and killed by two officers from the Conroe Police Department while reportedly trying to sexually assault a woman inside a home Monday night.

Police officers said they were called to a home in the 14710 block of Callard Court for an assault at around midnight.Officers went inside the home and said they found a man holding a woman in a headlock, armed with a gun. They said the man was trying to sexually assault the woman in front of them in a bedroom.At some point officers say the man pointed his weapon at them which caused them to opened fire, ultimately killed the man.
