A Cleveland man, 23, was cited at about 11 p.m. Sept. 28 after he passed out inside a Dodge Charger stopped in the drive-thru lane of McDonald’s, 350 W. Bagley.
Police asked the man to step out of the car several times, but he did not. He motioned toward the passenger side of the vehicle. Police grabbed his wrist and began to pull him out. The man then complied with police orders and he was placed in handcuffs. Police activated their overhead lights and the man pulled into a gas station on Front. When he rolled down his window, marijuana smoked billowed from the car. He didn’t have a driver’s license.
The man turned east onto West Bagley, then north onto North Rocky River. He drove slowly and weaved the whole time. Police pulled him over on North Rocky River near Depot Street. The man then admitted using drugs earlier, but refused to say which kind. He failed field sobriety tests.A Berea man, 31, was arrested at about 11 p.m. Oct. 3 for driving drunk.
