A man was killed in a South Dallas shootout Sunday afternoon, Dallas police said.

The shooting was reported shortly after 6 p.m. in the 3700 block of Spring Avenue, south of Fair Park. Responding officers found paramedics attending to two people, authorities said.

Both were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds.Police said a preliminary investigation found that both men exchanged gunfire after an argument. Morgan is expected to face a murder charge after he is released from the hospital, Dallas police said.
