The body of Daniel Greer was discovered by his father, two days after he was murderedNicholas Henry hit Daniel Greer, 33, with a shovel and stabbed him nine times during the garden attack in Airdrie on 17 October 2020.
Henry, who was convicted following a trial last month, was jailed for life at the High Court in Glasgow.He had previously been sentenced to 12 years in 2011 for trying to kill a man in an attack which almost severed the victim's hand.
