Man hospitalised for five days after getting a 7lb burger stuck in his stomach during speed eating competition

A man received medical treatment after getting a 7lb burger stuck in his stomach while taking part in a speed eating competition.

The man, aged in his 30s, was admitted to the emergency room eight hours after taking part in a speed eating competition, having consumed a 3.2kg burger in 30 minutes.He subsequently spent five days in hospital vomiting undigested food and suffering a swollen stomach, as well as having a compressed pancreas and bowels being pushed to the left.The case, which was shared in a medical journal, went viral on Twitter recently after it was discovered, racking up 4,800 likes and hundreds of comments.

“7 lb. burger!
