A man was found shot inside a car that crashed on Interstate 280 early Sunday morning – a wreck that authorities suspect may be tied to a shooting about a mile away in downtown San Jose.
The man was hospitalized for at least one gunshot wound after being found shortly after 1:30 a.m. in a wrecked white sedan on I-280, just north of Bird Avenue, according to the San Jose Police Department. His condition has not been released, though police said he is expected to survive.
