Toronto man, 31, was charged March 1, but police believe there may be more victims across the province
An investigation into alleged child luring and sexual assault in Thunder Bay has led to a Toronto man facing nearly 100 charges.
In December, members of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children From Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet in Thunder Bay alerted Toronto police to a child luring and sexual assault investigation involving a young person. Police allege the investigation also led to evidence that a seven-year-old child had been sexually assaulted at a Toronto park, and that more victims were targeted online through several social media platforms and in-person across Ontario.
The man, Daniel Langdon, is charged with 39 counts of sexual assault and 39 counts of sexual interference, along with eight counts of administering a noxious substance, as well as additional counts of making, possession and accessing child pornography.
