A 36-year-old man named John White has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly fatally stabbing Quentin Smith in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred on August 1, 2023, in the 1600 block of East Cannon Street. Police responded to a stabbing call and found the victim with a stab wound to the chest. White is currently in custody awaiting further legal proceedings.
A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday on a murder charge in connection with a stabbing last week in Fort Worth, records show.
Officers responded about 11:30 a.m. Aug. 1 to a stabbing call in the 1600 block of East Cannon Street near the intersection of Loney and East Hattie streets, according to an initial report.The victim was identified as 53-year-old Quentin Smith. Smith was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he died Saturday from a stab wound to the chest, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner office’s report.
