The day after a triple shooting injured three children in Harrisburg, people in the community weighed in on the violence. Eric Barcavage doesn't live in Harrisburg but said he's still financially and emotionally invested in the Capitol City, buying and fixing up houses. He was working on a property when he heard the gunshots on Sunday, but he never imagined a 3-year-old, an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old would have been the victims.
'I just saw a young mother holding a child and crying,' Barcavage said. He thinks children today lack consequences.'They're molding into young adults, and so I don't think they understand the ramifications of what can happen when you pull that trigger,' Barcavage said.Rehabbing houses is one way he tries to help.He hopes the members of the community will do their part. 'I think we can all get better. I think we can still build something here that's worthwhile.
