Manchester City will entertain Chelsea in what promises to be a mouth-watering third round tie in the FA Cup.
Premier League leaders Arsenal will go to League One outfit Oxford United, while holders Liverpool have been given a home tie against Wolves, the top flight’s bottom side.The pick of the ties sees last season’s beaten finalists go to the Etihad Stadium Like Arsenal, Tottenham have also been given League One opponents as they host Portsmouth, while Manchester United will play Everton at Old Trafford.Advertisement
It was a disappointing draw for non-league sides Chesterfield and Wrexham, who are up against West Brom and Coventry City respectively. But Dagenham and Redbridge, who play in the National League, will have a home tie against Leicester should they win at Gillingham in their second round replay.Below you can see the FA Cup third round draw in full. Ties will be played between Friday January 6 – Monday January 9.
