Garland police arrested a 38-year-old man Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting last week that killed a 33-year-old Dallas man and wounded another., who was booked into the Dallas County jail’s Lew Sterrett Justice Center. He faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with his bail set at $1.75 million, according to jail records. It’s not clear if he has an attorney.
In the July 18 shooting, officers responded to the 3300 block of South Shiloh Road about 7 p.m. and found two men had been shot while riding a gas-powered scooter. Both of the victims were taken to an area hospital with gunshot wounds.Email Address
