A 29-year-old man was rushed to hospital last night after an alleged 'assault'
Shortly after 8pm, police received reports of a disturbance on Shettleston Road in the city's East End.
Emergency services attended the scene and a 29-year-old man was later raced to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for urgent medical treatment.A 59-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. It is understood that the road remained cordoned off late into the night with a large police presence in place as officers carried out enquiries.
