An Arizona national park shooting from last week has led to a man's arrest as prosecutors consider adding a murder charge.
Matthew Lamar Williams, 21, of Chambers, is charged with felony endangerment and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Apache County Sheriff's Office. Williams was taken into custody Saturday in a Sept. 20 incident at the Petrified Forest National Park, in the northeastern part of the state.
"While driving into a remote area of the park, an unmarked park vehicle carrying two employees was hit by a bullet," readThe Apache County District Attorney's Office is reviewing the case as it considers an attempted murder charge, the Sheriff's Office said.
