Jeremy M. Anderson, of Mount Joy, admitted to trying to set the Mexican family’s home on fire in February 2021 after finding the garbage, prosecutors said. Police around 10:17 a.m. Feb. 21, 2021, found two glass bottles with fabric coming out of the top near the immigrant family’s home on the 200 block of Mount Joy Street, prosecutors said. Both reportedly smelled of alcohol-based accelerant and appeared to have been set on fire.
