, the Bulls intend to sign Hill to a two-way contract, which would keep him around through the end of the season.Hill, 26, was born in St. Louis, but when he was four years old moved to Belleville, Ill. with his family. There, he enjoyed a decorated high school career at Belleville East.
A four-star recruit , Hill originally committed to Illinois under Bruce Weber, and remained so even after Weber was fired and replaced by John Groce in March 2012.Hill stayed all four years at the University of Illinois and blossomed into a standout scorer. He averaged 13.5 points for his four seasons, 18.1 as a junior and 17.2 as a senior, and was named to the All-Big Ten second team in 2016 and 2017.
In the summer of 2017, he signed on for a brief stint with the Star Hotshots of the Philippine Basketball Association, then in September signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn of Germany for the 2017-18 season. After a run with the Utah Jazz in Summer League 2018, Hill spent the 2018-19 season with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg , the 2019-20 season with BC Astana and 2020-21 with Hapoel Jerusalem .
