A gorgeous winter walk
There’s one thing people look forward to after Christmas. Apart from all the food, outdoor walks in the winter are always welcome.
Temple Newsam Park is surrounded by lakes, gardens, and woods on 1,500 acres of land. It looks good in both summer and even better in winter covered by snow.For animal lovers, during the winter the farm is open from Tuesday to Sunday, and there’s also a café where you can pick up hot drinks and some food.
Rob H said: “Superb house. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. This was our first visit to the house, we have visited the gardens before. We had a guided tour of the house undertaken by Mehdi who made our visit all the more enjoyable. Mehdi was able to answer all our questions, had a knowledge about the family history and house history. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable.”
