For the fifth year in a row, the Loveland Dairy Queen, on the corner of Eisenhower Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue, has been named the top treat location in the country.
The local DQ team announced the news in a Facebook post Feb. 8, saying they are “grateful that our patrons have put us on the map for such an honor.”
Wild said that while the community loves to swing by and grab a frozen treat — especially an Oreo Blizzard, which Wild said is their most popular item — the team is what makes the location such a special one.“We have amazing employees,” Wild said. “They get to know our customers, especially our regulars. They know their names, they know what going on in their lives.”
Sarah Bergstrom, assistant manager, said she has come back multiple times, starting at the job when she was 16. She said it has been great to work with longtime employees but bring new ones on.
