Love Island's Ron Hall said he is hoping to raise awareness about being partially-sighted in the villa after losing sight in one of his eyes when he was just eight-years-old
The dating show returned on Monday night with the first 10 contestants making their way to sunny South Africa to find love.
But it looks like he is going to be the first one to have his head turned, after heading out on a date with bombshell Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown on Wednesday night’s episode. Speaking before he flew out to Cape Town, Ron said he hoped that he could raise awareness about being partially sighted during his stay in the villa.
He missed year six of school after he was kicked in the face and knocked unconscious while going for a hearer - although he still went back on the patch to try and score a goal, despite being unable to see.
