Loss of programs and businesses hits resident of Vancouver's Chinatown

“So many seniors don’t have the means to age in place and there are a lot of systemic failures that a non-profit Band-Aid can’t fix,” said Ho. “It’s tough because some of these businesses serve the low-income community, so they can’t charge $20 for a lunch for people that are seniors and workers,” said Jordan Eng, president of the Chinatown BIA. “
The owner of Kent’s Kitchen didn’t reply to a call from Postmedia. Staff said that his location on Victoria Drive will continue after the Chinatown location closes.Article content
