Los Angeles County's most expensive home sales included six transactions north of $70 million and three sales of $100 million or more.
The 38,000-square-foot showplace sits on a property formerly owned by NFL player turned television host Michael Strahan., founder of Los Angeles-based design and development firm Arya Group, sold a contemporary showplace in July for $13 million less than the asking price.
In Bel-Air, the 25,000-square-foot contemporary — featuring 20,000 square feet of decking/patios and a vertical garage — sold in July for $75 million. The estate, which spans more than an acre in the Trousdale section, previously traded hands in 2014 for $13.7 million — not a bad return for the developers.
Branden Williams and Rayni Williams of Hilton & Hyland were the listing agents. Florence Mattar of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage represented the buyer.
