Longhorns suffered familiar fade in second half in loss to Texas Tech in Lubbock

The Longhorns came out breathing fire, scoring 24 points over their first five possessions in their farewell trip to Lubbock.
“That’s on all of us,” Sarkisian said of the Longhorns’ unforced errors. “At the end of the day it’s our job to put our players in the best position to be successful. And then ultimately, when you gain the trust of us to put us out there and go do it, it’s your job to go execute.” “I always look at me first,” Sarkisian said. “The responsibility I have is looking at me from a motivational standpoint, a play-calling standpoint, from an execution standpoint. I would love for the execution to have been a little better but I’ve gotta make sure I’m putting the players in the best position to be successful.”Once again, Texas opened the week with all four scholarship quarterbacks able to practice in full.
