GREELEY, Colo. — A 21-year-old faces up to 96 years in prison after he shot a Fort Lupton police officer in the face in December 2019 and was convicted of attempted murder this week, according to the 19th Judicial District Attorney's Office.
The conviction could result in a maximum sentence of 96 years in prison. The minimum sentence is 48 years, the district attorney's office said.
