Three of Lizzo’s former stage dancers filed a lawsuit against the pop star on Tuesday over claims the four-time Grammy Award winner subjected dancers to sexual harassment and created a hostile work environment.
The plaintiffs accused Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, of violating California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, by failing to prevent or remedy hostile work environment sexual harassment and religious harassment, as well as assault and disability discrimination, according to a suit filed Tuesday morning in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Lizzo allegedly “intended to cause…offensive bodily contact” to Rodriguez after she questioned why Davis was fired, according to the suit.
