ANTWERP, Belgium — The U.S. women’s gymnastics team began its run through the world championships with a dominant performance in the qualifying round. With a win Wednesday in the team final, the Americans can make history: No men’s or women’s team has won seven straight world titles. The American women and Chinese men are tied at six consecutive golds for the record.The Americans scored more than five points better than second-place Britain in the qualifying round.
