And to quell other get-togethers, citizens are ordered not to leave their homes for any reason at all for 11 hours starting Wednesday afternoon, the time of the ritual Seder dinner.Officials hope the unprecedented lockdown on one of the major holidays of the Jewish calendar will avoid a repeat of the mass gatherings that took place during the Purim holiday, thought to have been a major source of covid-19 infections early in the outbreak.
“A non-compliant quarantine or self-isolating person will have one of these devices fitted to monitor or restrict movements as part of our efforts to protect the community,” Mark McGowan said,Earlier this week, McGowan“The advice I am giving everyone is to look forward to a hard, long six months,” he said.In a news conference on Wednesday, Australian Health Minister Greg Hunt said the country has acquired tens of millions of masks for healthcare workers in recent days.
All 1,007 VA employees who contracted the virus are in isolation, spokesperson told the news site. All of them work for the Veterans’ Health Administration, which oversees the agency’s sprawling, nationwide network of hospitals and clinics.
