Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for city of Tucson and southwest vicinity
Cuyler Diggs has an update below as we're seeing thunderstorms redevelop on Tucson's northwest side. Eddie Celaya has an update below on conditions near the Tucson Mall:Tucson Electric Power's online outage map is showing roughly 2280 customers in the Continental Ranch area of Marana currently without power.The largest cell of Friday's monsoon storm moved up to the Marana area, with continued activity in the Green Valley area and to the Southwest.

KGUN 9's Eddie Celaya was on the northside as the storm rolled through to assess damages.A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued Friday afternoon for the Tucson metro and extending to the southwest to Three Points. Expect heavy rain in the Tucson Estates area as the storm moves to the northeast at about 10 miles per hour, according to KGUN 9's Cuyler Diggs in our First Warning Weather Center.In Santa Cruz County and western Cochise County near Sonoita and Whetsone, an Areal Flood Advisory is in effect until 5:15 p.m.Full look at storm activity below and coming up in our evening newscasts:
