An accident has happened on Coal Road and Whaite Laithe Road is closed in both directionsWhite Laithe Road, in Whinmoor, is shut in both directions after a road traffic accident. The accident happened on Coal Road.
Traffic has built up in the area because of the accident and traffic reporting partner INRIX currently says there are delays.A detour is in place for bus services as the 56 bus has been affected and rerouted. The accident was first reported at 2.27pm today . Traffic on Coal Road is delayed and partially open. But White Laithe is completely shut off.
West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and Yorkshire Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
