A serious accident has taken place in Seacroft, Leeds. York Road is closed in both directions due to a crash, police and emergency services including the air ambulance are at the scene.
Buses are being diverted due to the event, First have confirmed. The air ambulance has landed at the Seacroft Village green. Travellers on the 4 and 4F services are being diverted via the ring road at Stocks Approach on York Road, South Parkway. First Buses for West Yorkshire tweeted: "Due to a Road Traffic Incident, on York Road in Seacroft Services 4,4F are diverting via Ring Road, Stocks Approach, York Road, South Parkway in both directions."The relevant emergency services have been contacted for comment. It is not known at this time how many people were involved or the level of injuries.
