An emotional 911 call made by a woman who was carjacked by John Drake Jr. shortly before his death has been obtained by WZTV.over the weekend. He’s accused of carjacking a woman at gunpoint late Tuesday night on Antioch Pike before crashing the car. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says: OK, I’m at 178B Antioch Pike and some guy just robbed me at gunpoint and took my car. I just got robbed at gunpoint. He took my car! He took my car I don’t I’m with my neighbors.
“I am grateful to the members of law enforcement, including many officers from this department, who worked diligently since Saturday to locate my son and bring him into custody,” the chief wrote. “It was my prayer that no harm would come to him or anyone else. I am heartbroken and saddened by the outcome. I appreciate the condolences and kind words of support as my family and I privately mourn our loss.
