Lily Tomlin praised Jane Fonda's “indomitable” spirit following her recent diagnosis with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
co-star that Fonda is, “very forthright and talkative about what's going on with her in all respects. First thing, she says, ‘Don't worry, it's really treatable. It's one of the most treatable forms that you could possibly have, so I'm really lucky in that regard.
” She added that she is handling the chemo “quite well” so far and is still as committed as ever to climate activism., Fonda insisted, “I feel stronger than I have in years,” thanking her fans for “all the expressions of love and support,” saying, “I have been deeply moved and uplifted.” She also reconfirmed her commitment to her activism, explaining that her recent diagnosis has made her “more determined than ever to continue to end the deadly effects of fossil fuels.
