That’s what they are currently doing in the case of Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin who India believes was responsible for the horrific 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. There was no attempt to take him out with a gun; Rana served time in an American jail for other terror attacks and then has been fighting extradition to India in relation to the Mumbai attack.

Trudeau didn’t act on that front; he has not dealt with the extremist elements in the Khalistani movement who go beyond advocating for a homeland and instead push for violence.
