The other possibility is that Chow’s vote doesn’t show up in the numbers expected and at this point, it’s that thought that will be giving the other candidates hope and Chow’s team nightmares. This is a municipal by-election, a rare occurrence, which means we don’t have a lot to go by in terms of looking at trends.In the recent federal by-election in Mississauga—Lakeshore, the voter turnout was 27% in a riding where voter turnout is normally above average.
