Liam Smith knocked out Chris Eubank Jr in a sensational win on Saturday night in Manchester.
The underdog pulled off a stunning upset as he destroyed his opponent who has never previously been stopped.The fight began with an intriguing opening round as Eubank Jr attempted to establish his jab, but Smith landed the more notable blows. Round two saw more success for Eubank Jr as he began to utilise his fast hooks when Smith got up close.
Smith tried to make things scrappy on the inside in the third, but Eubank Jr seemed happiest as he was able to box at mid-range and control things with his jab, while ripping in uppercuts which lifted his opponent off his feet.Smith ripped into Eubank Jr with a relentless combination of punches, culminating with a huge left uppercut and left hook which floored Eubank Jr.
