Since 2019, when TWU got a new president, One TWU says school administrators haven’t allowed members to hang posters promoting its support services. During the Sawatzky’s second school year living on campus, the now-23-year-old attended their first confidential One TWU meeting. “We believe having someone to dedicated to supporting our students, lets them know they’re seen, loved and valued,” said Wigmore, a school alumnus.Rabanes, One TWU’s co-director, says she hasn’t been able to bridge the connection her sexuality has to her spiritual beliefs.Article contentaving someone we trust to help queer students in that would be beneficial.”
