If you are a teacher in Texas, what are your recommendations? Unlike the governor, I am actually interested in hearing from the experts in the field.Re: “Revive the Keystone Pipeline — Biden must correct his error and signal the free world wants energy independence,” Wednesday Editorials. If just one small leak in the pipeline were not detected, the Ogallala Aquifer would be contaminated and would harm our food and water supply, and the beauty of the land it flows through would be destroyed.Re: “Millions set to fall off Medicaid soon,” Tuesday news story.

I feel for the Ukrainian people and all others who are in war zones, and those in countries with famine and drought. However, I strongly prefer that our limited tax dollars be spent on our citizens and our country.Re: “My only criterion: conservatism” by John Riggs, Tuesday Letters. Nine judges are divided into two camps, yet all are noted for their expertise in constitutional law. The only conclusion is that each brings his or her personal biases to the table. Data supporting conclusions is cherry-picked to reflect a desirable result rather than the data driving to a result through a logical process. Diversity matters, and the Supreme Court should reflect that diversity.
