Readers don’t like the influence of lobbying in lawmaking; hope the Texas Rangers are honest about their past; comment on student behavior; and urge not jumping to conclusions about political beliefs.
Wouldn’t we be much better off with some sort of gun control which would make compensating victims of school violence unnecessary? This story reports that “school systems have faced questions from teachers, parents and lawmakers about whether” children need tougher discipline? Yes, they do, and that discipline must begin in the home if teachers are to be successful in the classroom.Let’s agree to gather even if we disagree — Faith communities expose us to diverse viewpoints, and that’s goodI’m a brunette.
