Re: CRA fires 20 employees over COVID benefit claims; 600 more under investigation as revenue agency tries to uproot overpayments, July 4 They unlawfully took money from me, from you and from every taxpayer in Canada. These CRA employees, tasked with administering CERB, either stole from or defrauded taxpayers and, hence, the Government of Canada, their employer.
The standing rule in the criminal justice system is that theft from an employer merits jail upon conviction. Having the fox guard the henhouse is just another example of the incompetence and corruption plaguing the federal government.
