May 14 Letters to the Calgary Sun Editor
I would like a city I can actually afford to live in with infrastructure maintained efficiently. I would like to access public transit without fear of being stabbed, and to pick up a few groceries without risk of being caught in gang-related gunfire. Finally, I would like a city council/administration that cares about the vast majority of taxpayers, instead of fringe minorities.

For 46 of the past 50 years conservatives have run the government of Alberta and in that time they’ve horrendously mismanaged the Heritage Fund, given big tax breaks to corporations and wealthy people for no gain in jobs or GDP, allowed billions of dollars of oil well cleanup costs to pile up and spent billions on a keystone pipeline to nowhere. Now Smith is even peddling her R-Star giveaway project.
