A reader wants the city of San Antonio to do more to address the feral cat population. She says feral cats are tearing up her yard, and are emboldened by well-intended neighbors who feed and water them.Re:"Seguin struggles with water supply," Front Page, Sunday:
Please Dr. Patel, could you use your influence and finances to retrofit your places, become a huge leader for these changes in how we can do something individually to enhance our living, our heath and finances? What a delight to see the recent rain, but come May, it’s a long summer haul until October. Bexar County is in an exceptional drought. As stated in the guest commentary from Amy Hardberger, director of the Texas Tech Center for Water Law and Policy at Texas Tech School of Law and a San Antonio Water System trustee, San Antonio is known for its conservation efforts. Despite this, many people are still using a lot of water, much of it to water their lawns.
Perhaps the San Antonio Restaurant Association should be in this conversation. We all need to conserve water, especially for future generations.Re:"Feral cat population boom frustrates home owners," S.A. Life, Feb. 26:
