Letters, July 7, 2023: 'Leave sports coverage in the Sports section' yyc
Of all the ignorant and moronic replies I’ve read from the Comments editor over the years, the reply to Patricia Coulson’s letter of July 2 is the most asinine reply I’ve ever read, and I’m a subscriber of the. Ms. Coulson commented that she disagreed with the‘s front page continually being about the Flames and I, too, am sick and tired of it. I totally agree with her because, with all of the other world newsworthy activity taking place, pretty much all we see is hockey on the front page.
” What utter crap that reply was! I, and probably the majority of your readers, buy your paper for the local and world news and not just for hockey. I go to some of the Flames’ games and I watch hockey on TV, but that reply just demonstrates the low level capacity of this editor’s editorial ability. The Sports section has its own front page.
