Alex Brandon, STF / Associated PressSo it has come to this: Donald Trump has publicly advocated for rules, regulations, laws and the Constitution itself to be eliminated, or at least ignored. This is explicit violation of his oath of office.
Every officeholding Republican must now strongly, emphatically disavow and reject Trump and “Trumpism.” Any who does not should be expelled from office immediately.San Antonio is not like Chicago or New York. It’s unfortunate that people have been injured after falling from horse-drawn carriages, but I’m not aware of one instance of death of a pedestrian or cruelty to horses in San Antonio.
Some of the carriage horses have been saved from being euthanized. The owners have ranches for the horses to roam, and the bonding of driver and horse is beautiful and unique. Some ungrateful and disgraceful congressional legislators benefited from the Capitol Police sacrifices. Those disgraceful legislators are unworthy of the office they represent and will never understand what gave our Capitol Police officers the fortitude to protect them because they have never been under hostile fire or in a combat zone.Juan Serda
