Since his death, people from all walks of life and from all political stripes have come forward with memories of how he reached out and advised and assisted them as a friend or colleague, regardless of political affiliation. To date he has offered almost no positive or constructive comment on anything. So far, utilization of crypto currency, firing the governor of the Bank of Canada, defunding the CBC and adopting “common sense policies” have formed the mainstream of his platform. Scarcely the stuff of nation-building.
