'We're asking courts to tell New York, Pennsylvania to stop their unconstitutional threats,' a lawyer for a sexual assault advocacy organization told Newsweek.
Leda Health, an organization that provides national services to sexual assault victims, has sued a pair of attorneys general for allegedly violating First Amendment rights that the organization claims 'restrict speech directed at sexual assault survivors.
He said that he, on behalf of Leda and Campbell, reached out to both attorneys general after receiving correspondence on June 4 of this month which included accusations that 'weren't accurate.'Little said neither office ever responded, and due to concerns about aggressive behavior, they felt the best course of action was to 'vindicate First Amendment rights' and file a suit—which does not include any amount for damages.
