Dodgson was convicted by a jury of second-degree murder and Holloway of manslaughter during their trial last year in connection with Herblin’s March 13, 2020, death.The two convicted killers were attempting to get into a cannabis shop adjacent to Herblin’s under-construction Croque Saveurs bistro by breaking into the restaurant to access an adjoining wall.Article content
The culprits fled but returned hours later, and when they discovered Herblin’s car was still parked outside they decided to lure him out and subdue him. Holloway got out of their stolen car on Bow Trail S.W. and smashed the windshield and driver’s-side window of the chef’s vehicle, while Dodgson was driven around the back of the strip mall by a female accomplice who testified against them and can’t be named.
