Holby City actor Lee Mead has announced his engagement to longterm girlfriend Issy Szumniak, saying he is 'so happy' and cannot wait to 'spent forever' with his new fiancée
The Holby City actor, 41, took to Instagram on 5 February to reveal he'd popped the question to Issy and she happily accepted his proposal, with the pair now set to tie the knot.
Lee's post quickly racked up hundreds of likes and comments, with many fans flocking to congratulate the happy couple. Lee met Issy, who runs her own salon in Cranbrook, back in 2018 in a local coffee shop, and after deciding plucking up the courage to ask her out the pair soon fell for one another. Lee was married to TV presenter Denise van Outen, 48, from 2009 until 2013, and the couple are parents to daughter Betsy, 12, who they co-parent.
