Flights are being diverted and some have been cancelled this morning
Flights are being delayed and cancelled at Leeds Bradford Airport due to adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Otto.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as the storm is set to bring 60 to 70mph gales to parts of the county throughout the day. Due to the winds, air, rail and road travel has been impacted. A number of flights at Leeds Bradford Airport have been diverted or cancelled as a result of the storm. The airport remains open but passengers are being advised to check arrival and departure boards frequently for any updates.Here is what we know so far about the disruption from Leeds Bradford:
A spokesperson for LBA said: "We currently remain open but are experiencing some delays and disruptions to flights. We’d recommend passengers check with their airlines and on our website for live updates.” The following flights have been cancelled so far. We will be updating our live blog with all the latest updates as and when we get them.7.50am flight to Wroclaw with Wizz Air Hungary - Proceed to Gate 18.20am flight to Krakow with Wizz Air Hungary - Proceed to Gate 18.30am flight to Dublin with Aer Lingus - Proceed to Gate 1The following arrival flights to Leeds Bradford Airport have been cancelled:8am flight arriving from Belfast City, with Aer Lingus - cancelled.
