.LaurenJauregui is ready to show the world her debut solo project Prelude and told Billboard in a new interview about its special rollout.
The 25-year-old singer sat down with , which she will be presenting for the very first time during a special global livestream performance via"I want the story to tell itself through the music," the"Expectations" singer says."It's very introspective. I go through a lot of different emotions and revealings throughout it.
"I have learned that I am resilient. I have learned that I truly have a lot of inner-strength and power. And I have learned that I am protected and guided spiritually, and I've leaned in a much deeper way than I ever have in my life," she says of the songwriting process. Co-directed by her new creative director Matthew Daniel Siskin , Jauregui's livestream will air Thursday, Oct. 14, and Friday, Oct. 15, across multiple territories, including North and South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the U.K., Europe and Africa. Tickets are on sale"I want people to experience the rawness of the songs, and I feel like I really captured that," Jauregui tells .
