Some streets and public areas in Lancaster City may be closed while the police investigate the large crime scene, police said.
Lancaster City Police are investigating the death of the man while the boy is recovering in a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
The shooting occurred at 11:34 p.m. on Ruby Street and Prangley Avenue, according to police. They said a blood trail led them to a residence on the 400 block of Ruby Street. The crime scene is large and includes public areas and private residences, accodrding to police. There may be blocked streets and areas the public cannot access.
